Nothing Further

A Multimedia Solo Performance Exhibit

Nothing Further is a multidisciplinary theatrical excavation, investigating the complicated relationship between a daughter and her father, a Vietnam veteran living with PTSD. The piece explores the weight of shame and guilt that often accompanies family secrets and generational trauma, questioning the masks we wear to maintain a suburban exterior.

This is an ongoing work in progress, with further exploration intended for these central themes.

In development since 2016, the work began in Boulder, CO as The Father Project, underwent an ensemble workshop at NYC's 5 Angles Theater, and ultimately evolved into its current solo format during a residency with Culture Lab LIC.

An imaginative and captivating one-woman show... I was moved by the confusion and love the character felt for her father, and made to laugh out loud at her need to keep up a social appearance while dealing with her inner turmoil.
